Like a car, computers need maintenance to stop them breaking down and suffering poor performance.

The place where all your Notebook configuration information is stored is called the registry. The registry contains information about all the programs installed on your computer.

Maintaining the registry is an important step in keeping your computer healthy. Registry problems can include slow PC performance, notebook crashing, and the annoying Windows error messages.

If any of these describes you as a computer user:

- Has old drivers on their system that have not been removed.

- Installs or uninstalls software very often.

- Have third party programs running such as Spyware and Adware (you can’t stop these from being installed)

- Remove software by deleting them from the Program Files folder.

- Installs or Uninstalls hardware.

Then you absolutely need to be repairing your Microsoft Windows registry regularly! All of the above leave traces in your registry that will only hurt your computer in the long run. If you don’t clean your computer to fix your registry than you are going to be in a whole world of trouble.

Make sure that you backup your registry before you try to clean or fix anything. Most registry cleaners have registry backup automatically for you, but be sure to check them out. Remember, don’t try to edit anything in the registry yourself unless you are very computer savvy.

Why do you need a registry cleaner? Registry cleaners are important because it protects your PC from harmful processes. Is your computer slowing down for no apparent reason? Are you having errors that are not solved by your anti-virus or anti-spyware program? Your PC might be affected by applications that are running without your knowledge. Registry cleaners are a must! Registry cleaners ensure that your registry is clean.

Some errors are just a quick registry fix, while others could be more problematic.

If you keep your registry clean, free of viruses and spyware your computer will last much longer. Spend the time or money now for a registry cleaner to save you even more time or money later down the road.

Remember Microsoft Windows does NOT come with a registry cleaner.

You may have seen that Northamptonshire Police is now using an 03 non-emergency telephone number: 0300 111 222. The force follows in the footsteps of many UK constabularies that are now using 03 numbers, like the Metropolitan Police Service, Tayside Police and Staffordshire Police. Superintendent Bob Smart, head of the Force Communications Centre, recently commented that the move to an 03 non-emergency number is part of the drive to cont

inually improve the service provided to the public: “We have worked very hard over the last few years to improve our call handling procedures and the introduction of a single non-emergency number in 2006 was a significant step towards that. However, we are continually trying to improve our service and respond to the needs of our customers. The new number will not only be easier for people to remember, but it can also cost less for them to contact the police for assistance, wherever they are calling from.”. “Ofcom has specifically set aside the 030 range for public bodies and not-for-profit organisations and we were keen to make the move to the new number, with the associated benefits for our customers, as quickly as possible. For example the 030 numbers can be saved to telephone discount packages frequently offered by network providers. Our local consultation has identified that our communities are keen to see such benefits.”

Here are 10 reasons why 03 numbers are becoming a popular choice for UK police forces.

1. They meet the needs of the public as they cost the same to call as 01/02 numbers – even from a mobile. Research by one police force found that 75% of all their incoming calls are from mobiles.

2. There is an extensive range of easy to remember 03 numbers available that can complement the service (e.g. 0300 999 9333).

3. The public trust 0300 numbers as they are exclusively for public sector organisations.

4. Organisations can deal with callers more efficiently, gain valuable information about their specific 03 number (such as the fact in point 1) and ensure all calls are answered by the right person, first time.

5. It’s possible to record calls to a 03 number.

6. 03 numbers can easily move with the organisation if it relocates.

7. Organisations can control where they receive their calls, by rerouting their 03 number to any UK landline or even a mobile phone easily via the web/phone.

8. It’s possible to see the geographic location of callers and the busy periods of the organisation using online call statistics packages.

9. Callers can be queued, meaning that all important calls will be answered.

10. They can often be inexpensive to run if you seek out the provider with the most competitive offering in the market.

It’s evident that 03 is becoming the number one choice for public bodies, charities and UK businesses. It seems it won’t be long before everyone has someone with an 03 number in their phonebook.

The first biggest mistake that muscle building programs make is not to incorporate the diet into the workout regimen.  Your diet is more important to muscle mass growth than any weightlifting exercise will ever be.  You can’t expect to eat junk food, and correct it by lifting a lot weights.  Not only will you still be unhealthy, but you probably will lack the proper nutrients to build your muscles up to larger masses, and your body won’t recovers quickly after workout.

The second mistake has to do with the intensity of the workout.  Most people believe that it is better to work out with low intensity, but in longer sessions, then shorter spurts at high intensity workout.  Research has shown over and over again that high intensity workouts give you better results than low intensity programs.  This is because your body, in order to reach the top optimal performance level, has to be pushed.

However, the third mistake is pushing it too much.  Your body also must recover as well.  And, if you did injured, then naturally your muscle building programs will not help you any.  Learn the limitations of your body, so you know how far you can push yourself, but also know when to back off.

The fourth mistake related to muscle building programs is to think that one program has all the answers.  The fact of the matter is all of our bodies are different, and they will respond to stimuli differently.  What works for somebody else may not work for you.

What you read about one program might help a lot of people, but might actually harm you.  So what do you follow?  You try a variety of different muscle building programs, and keep track of how each affects your body.  Through the knowledge gained from other experts, as well as your feedback, you will be able to find which muscle building programs are going to be most effective for you.

One second. That's all you've got to make a first impression.

If you run a small website that has aspirations of becoming a large web presence then you know that you spend as much time promoting your site as you do maintaining it. Your business depends on traffic and you dedicate time and energy to generating that traffic. So imagine what a nightmare it would be to finally get the level of web interest you've beenafter, only to have your website go offline line under the strain? The chances are extremelyhigh that this has happened to you because you host your site on a shared hosting platform. When what you really need is a low cost dedicated server.

Shared hosting platforms appear very inviting at first glance. For very little money they promise unlimited storage space for your site and unlimited bandwidth for user access to your site. But what you may have overlooked is that crucial word "shared." A shared hostingpackage means that a single server hosts multiple websites at the same time. You have no way of knowing which websites you share space with or how popular they are. This is vital information to know because although you have a contract for unlimited bandwidth, a server by its very nature only has a limited number of connections that are available at anyone moment. Too many requests at once and your website will slow to a crawl, if it loads at all. Or worse, your traffic never arrives, because another website on the very same serverhas more traffic than you and is squeezing you out of the system. All that traffic clicks off to some other page because the average web surfer takes less than one second to determine whether a site is worth their time.

Finding the best dedicated server to fit your budget is worth the research time involved when you think about the alternative. Losing all that precious traffic because you were using shared hosting.

The single most important development in the field of eCommerce is actually a concept that is many years old. The technique of drop ship for wholsale items were first popular in the heyday of the catalog mail-order boom. You could start your own mail order business by utilizing the services of a wholesaler who would pack and ship the orders that you collected.

So what can you sell to get started? My advice is to specialize, develop a presence of the auction site that shows you are an expert in handling your type of merchandise. If you want to run some tests and see what sells, an eBay drop ship strategy is a low-risk way to start selling. You can advertise items for sale, and then buy them from your supplier only when something sells.

One common problem when selling eBay drop ship merchandise is the time factor. The buyers on eBay generally expect fast shipping; make sure that the company that is providing your eBay drop ship merchandise is fast and responsive once an order has been placed. A slow response to your customer is a sure way to get lower feedback scores. Make sure your supplier has a return policy as well; you don’t want to lose reputation by not providing solid guarantees.

With the larger number of interested buyers you will get on eBay each day, eBay wholesale drop shipper can be a very lucrative business indeed. The best way to find willing vendors to provide this service is to utilize the services of a good drop ship directory service. These services will find eBay dropshipping partners for you.

It’s important to find a vendor that has a good guarantee and liberal return policy. You don’t want to get negative feedback because your item took forever to ship, or is of poor quality. Choose your drop ship partner like you would any business partner. Most of the drop ship provider directories can help you find a great vendor quickly and easily. Join the eCommerce revolution with drop shipping, it will save you from trying to sell Grandma’s fine china.

There is one thing all people strive for when attempting to make an online business successful and that is producing a steady flow of website traffic. If people don’t visit your site, it will hardly have any chance of generating any revenue at all. It takes money to maintain an income generating web site.

Ever wonder how successful, revenue earning online businesses succeed? The majority of them are spending lots of money to increase traffic to their sites, investing in many advertising campaigns and researching different forms of marketing schemes.

You don’t have to do all the above to create revenue for your site if you don’t have the resources. There are various ways to generate low cost website traffic without having to spend what you don’t have or can’t afford. Many people have banked on high cost methods and have ended up losing everything they own over it.

Below are the top five methods to generate low cost website traffic that I believe can help your site become successful. Even if you only generate a small percentage of successful visitors to client ratio, you will still see revenue, especially if you get high website traffic.

Exchange Links

This is a sure and proven way in the online business world. Not often would you see a site where there is no link to another site. Many webmasters are willing to exchange links with one another so that they could produce more public awareness about their sites. You’ll soon see and feel the sudden upsurge of the traffic coming in to your site from other sites when you start to use this method.

A major requirement in exchanging links with other sites, is having the same niche or content as the other site you are trying to exchange links with. Both sites should share a common subject so that there is continuity in providing service and information to what interests your target visitor.

Exchanging links also boosts your chances of getting a high ranking in search engine results. It is common knowledge that search engines ranks sites that have inbound theme-related links. With a good rank position in the search engines, you will generate more web traffic for your site without the high costs.

Traffic Exchange

This is similar to exchanging links, but on a different and higher level. This may cost a bit more than exchanging or trading links, but could be made cheaper because you have the chance to earn more revenue. Traffic exchange services is the idea of viewing another person’s site or page. This is done by the other person as well. This makes it so a site can use the contents of your site and vise-versa. This makes it so that you both benefit from each others efforts to generate web traffic. The other sites visitors can go to your pages and know more about your site as well as theirs. Once again the public awareness of your site’s existence is boosted.

Write and Submit Articles

There are lots of e-zines and online encyclopedias on the internet which provide free space for articles to be submitted. If you want to save costs, you can write the articles yourself or there are many freelance writers who are willing to write for you for a small fee. Although, if your aim is to save money, it is wise to write the articles for yourself.

Write something that you have expertise on so that when people read your articles, they can feel your knowledge about the subject and will be eager to go to your site more and more. It is also a great idea to include a resource box at the end of your article that can link them to your site. Make sure you write a little about yourself and your site in the resource box. If you provide a light, information-laden and interesting article, they will go to your site for more which will create more web traffic and revenue for you.

Make a Newsletter

This may sound like hard work because of all the articles you may need to use to build a newsletter, but on the contrary, this is not the case. There are many writers and sites that are willing to give free articles as long as they can get their name in your newsletter somewhere. As your newsletter gets passed around, you can broaden the public awareness of your website and maybe build an opt-in list for reader when your site becomes more successful.

Join Online Communities and Forums

This only requires your time and nothing else. This lets you share your knowledge and expertise with many online communities that are populated with people. You can also get free advertising when you visit forums that have the same subject or niche as your site. Ensure you share your two cents with everyone and let them see how knowledgeable you are with the subject. As you build your reputation, you also build the reputation of your website. Making it a reputable and honest business that could be visited and trusted by many people.

They say when you are looking for something, you should go back to the last place that you saw it. In all honesty, when the last place that you saw the object in question was a crowded night club, it might be time to say forget about it and invoke your iphone insurance! As far as I’m concerned, 3GS iphone insurance goes the distance and saves the day, especially when I was in a city that I didn’t know very well and had lost my ability to easily contact anyone who could help. Last spring, I was doing some work in Chicago, and a few days before I was due to leave, I was convinced into going out dancing with some of my co-workers. Everyone had a great time and it wasn’t until I was back in my hotel room that I decided to call my best friend back in Milwaukee and let her know what a great time I had had.

Unfortunately, I never got to call her that night at all, as I reached into my purse and realized that while I might have had everything else in there, the iphone definitely was not present and accounted for. I emptied my purse on the bed and rooted through scraps of paper, my wallet, tissues and more, but still no iphone. By now, my heart was starting to pound and futilely, I tore my hotel room apart looking for it. While I knew that I had iphone insurance (and I was very happy that I did!) I couldn’t shake the feeling that I could easily find my phone if I just knew where to look. After my room proved fruitless, I wandered down the hall, back through the same elevator that I had come up and nosed around the lobby for a while. After getting some thoroughly odd looks (by then, I was already in my pyjamas) I asked the clerk if I could use his phone to call the club that I was at.

The man who answered the phone was very helpful, but no one had turned my iphone in. If it wasn’t in the lost and found, he continued, it was probably gone and I would probably be best off calling the train company to see if anyone on the train had picked up my precious iphone. His tone of voice didn’t make it sound too likely but I thanked him and let him go. I wandered back up to my room and after another indiscriminate search; I lay down to get some sleep. I called the train company in the morning and after they told me much the same thing, I sighed and called my iphone 3GS insurance provider.

Insurance is a great thing and it’s even better when it works. My situation fell squarely into the area covered by loss and within forty eight hours, before I even had to leave the city, my claim was taken care of. I’m not nearly as careful with my things as I should be, and things like iphone insurance take a lot of worries off my mind!
